About the role
You will be responsible for spearheading the development, implementation, and optimization of AI and machine learning strategies aimed at transforming retail operations, enhancing customer experiences, and driving business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in AI technologies and their application in retail, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams in delivering AI-driven innovations that align with the company’s objectives.
Your responsibilities
AI Strategy and Leadership
Develop and lead the company’s AI strategy to enhance retail operations and customer engagement.
Identify AI opportunities that align with business goals, ensuring they deliver measurable value.
Drive the adoption of AI technologies across the organization, positioning the company as an industry leader.
Innovation and Development
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models and retail solutions.
Foster a culture of innovation by staying current with the latest AI trends and technologies.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to co-create cutting-edge AI applications that optimize retail functions.
Data Management and Analytics
Ensure the establishment of robust data collection, management, and analysis frameworks.
Use advanced analytics to derive actionable insights from retail data.
Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization to enhance performance and profitability.
Customer Experience Enhancement
Implement AI-driven personalization and recommendation systems to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
Leverage AI to gain deep insights into customer behaviors and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
Use predictive analytics to monitor and improve customer satisfaction.
Operational Optimization
Apply AI solutions to optimize key retail processes such as supply chain management, inventory control, and demand forecasting.
Enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs through predictive maintenance and automation.
Streamline retail processes using AI technologies to boost productivity and accuracy.
Model Development and Deployment
Design, develop, and deploy AI models for applications including demand forecasting, personalized marketing, and inventory optimization.
Continuously monitor and refine AI models to ensure high performance and relevance.
Team Leadership and Development
Build and lead a high-performing AI team comprising data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to team members.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented team environment.
Compliance and Ethical Standards
Ensure that all AI applications comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI-related processes and decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Effectively communicate AI strategy, projects, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry experts, and partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
You will have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with significant experience in the retail sector.
Proven track record of leading AI initiatives, from strategy development to implementation.
Extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively across departments.
