About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistic and 3PL Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our logistics and supply chain operations, including the management of third-party logistics (3PL) providers. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in logistics management.

Your responsibilities

  • Logistics Management: Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet customer demands.

  • 3PL Management: Oversee relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and service-level agreements to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory. Collaborate with the purchasing team to plan and execute replenishment strategies.

  • Process Optimization: Analyze current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and technologies to streamline operations and reduce costs.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chain performance. Generate reports and present findings to senior management.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative working environment.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Promote safety standards and practices within the logistics operations.

You will have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in sports retail or related industries is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, logistics processes, and best practices.

  • Proven experience in managing third-party logistics providers and negotiating contracts.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficient in logistics software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
