A top FinTech company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in advancing one of the world’s largest financial networks, managing a wide array of critical services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment, demonstrating outstanding problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and a high level of professionalism.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, support, and maintain a diverse vendor network infrastructure.

  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures and promote compliance.

  • Provide technical expertise to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network infrastructure.

  • Help develop policies and procedures for network infrastructure maintenance.

  • Lead incident investigations, diagnosis, and service restoration, prioritizing incident resolution.

  • Offer consultation in areas of expertise, including troubleshooting, design, onboarding, risk mitigation, and operational improvement.

  • Serve as an informal trainer for Level II staff, fostering skill development through support and guidance.

You will have

  • Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and other networking equipment and their configurations.

  • Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, and OSPF.

  • Extensive expertise in MPLS and Traffic Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience in network support and troubleshooting, with a solid background in designing and implementing complex networks.

  • Strong understanding of network management, security, and monitoring.

  • Advanced experience with multicast in both switched and routed networks.

  • Expert-level network certifications, such as CCIE or JNCIE.

  • Advanced certifications in F5, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto are preferred.

  • Experience with automation, scripting, and Unix/Linux system administration is a plus.

  • Skilled in running and analyzing sniffer traces with a deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols.

  • Ability to comprehend complex architectural concepts. In-depth knowledge of switch and router hardware.
