About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Angular development, with a focus on delivering high-quality web applications and user interfaces. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities
Build responsive designs, manage page navigation, and efficiently turn mock-ups into functional web pages that meet specifications.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical designs and specifications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project standards.
Ensure timely completion of business application coding, adhering to project schedules and timelines.
Ensure all development activities comply with the System Development Guidelines and Standards.
Develop and implement high-quality frontend systems that meet system specifications and user requirements.
Apply strong knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
Collaborate daily with frontend and backend developers throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Implement essential software development practices, including testing, troubleshooting, and using version control systems like SVN.
You will have
A Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with the ability to guide and review the code of junior developers.
Skillset:
Proficiency in Angular 6 and above, NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript for developing user interfaces for modern web applications.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap 3 and above, CSS3, and Angular Material.
Experience in developing responsive design layouts for Web, Mobile, and Tablet, with cross-browser compatibility.
Proficiency in data interchange formats like JSON or XML.
Ability to create reusable and testable component-based modules and pages.
Experience with Maven Build scripts is an advantage.
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jira and Jenkins is an advantage.
Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Oracle databases is an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.
Experience leading a team of Angular developers is a plus.
Experience in the Insurance Industry is a plus.
